Does Pro Green Pest Control offer guarantees?
Yes.

What services do you offer?
We treat both residential and commercial properties with pest control services. We specialize in the treatment and removal of spiders, ants, wasps, hornets, yellow jackets, box elder bugs, earwigs, centipedes, crickets, beetles, tree aphids, carpet beetles, roaches, termites, mice, voles, rats, and many others.

Our exterior treatment provides a full barrier spray of your foundation, upper eaves for wasps, under decks, patios, window wells, walkways, fences, rock walls, driveways, sprinkler boxes, shed, and garage as well as the removal of wasp nests and cobwebs.

We also offer a barrier treatment for the inside of your home or business to stop any unwanted pests that have found their way in. We also provide termite inspection and treatment. Low-risk products can be used upon request.

Do I have to sign up for a yearly service program?
No. We offer many different treatment plans to meet your needs, from one-time treatments to yearly plans. However, we have found that the best way to have a pest-free environment is through regular service.

Each season of the year brings out its own unique insects and pest. Spring has spiders and ants, summer has earwigs and millipedes, and autumn starts the invasion of rodents and insects in your home.
If I enroll for a service plan, does it mean I’ll never see another bug in my house again?
No. We provide the best pest control services available. Our goal is to keep you in a pest-free environment. However, pests can enter your home through many different ways, from a bag, a box, on your pets, and even through the air.

When your home is first treated, you may see more pest than usual for a week or two because they have been disturbed and flushed out of hiding. The full effect of treatment can be seen after that.

Do I need to have the inside of my home treated each time when enrolled in a service plan?
No, our proactive treatment puts the emphasis on the outside of your home. We schedule your treatments at consistent intervals and treat the inside only as needed. Most prefer this method of treatment since the majority of issues can be handled effectively this way. However, if you ever need additional treatment for the interior or exterior, just call us to schedule one at no additional charge.

Do I need your service year round, especially in the winter?
During the colder months here in Utah, we see a continuation of rodent and pest problems. Due to the cold climate in winter, rodents especially seek to come in from the cold in order to secure a warm, dry, and well-stocked place to stay.

As we begin to cool off during the fall months, a wide variety of pests begin to move in for the winter. We see activity from them on warmer sunny days and also from us heating our homes. We have treatments designed to maintain your home and prevent unnecessary damage from unwanted winter pests.

Why am I seeing more pest activity after my service?
It is common to see an increase in pest activity following service depending on the products used. Some are used to attract, so when pests return to their nests, they transfer it to others within the colony. This
increase in activity will subside as the pests die from feeding on baits and/or from being transferred.
How long after a treatment should I wait before calling for additional service?
It typically takes about ten days for most treatments to be fully effective. We recommend giving it at least that long to work before calling. You are always welcome to call if you have any concerns.

If I have a pest problem between service intervals, how long will it take for my technician to come back out and service my home?
We will always get you scheduled as soon as possible, normally within a few days. It is our goal to provide you with the best possible service. Your satisfaction is very important to us.

I have a yearly protection plan. Why do you not spray the outside during winter?
Exterior spraying is not as effective in winter due to the cold and dampness. During the colder months, outdoor activity is less, so we focus on the areas that are more prone to pest activity.

How do you treat for mice and rats?
The best method for treating rodents is prevention. Mice can fit into a hole as small as a dime and rats can fit into a hole about the size of a quarter. Caulking, mesh, and expanding form are great ways to seal holes and fill in cracks where they may enter from. There are a variety of glue boards, traps, and bait stations that can be used to prevent or treat depending on your needs.

Do you have a referral program?
Yes. We appreciate your referrals and have a discount program for each scheduled referral received.

Why do you offer ongoing service agreements?
Like most things, if you don’t keep working at it, it won’t work. In order to keep unwanted pest out of your home, it requires regular maintenance.

Why do I need a professional to provide my pest control?
We are trained, licensed, and insured to provide the best possible treatments for your home or business. Knowing the pest and their behaviors is instrumental in providing that care.

Can pest control products harm my family or pets?
No. Not when products are used correctly and according to labeled instructions.

Because the pesticide industry is very highly regulated, all pesticides are carefully tested for their potential effects on human health and the environment before they can be registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and before they can be sold.
In addition to following the product’s instructions, we also apply common sense to ensure your family and pets are protected.
